Aboriginals in racially-motivated savage attacks on whites

Australian residents are used to seeing Aboriginal crime regularly portrayed in the nightly TV news.

Scenes of car chases and victims of muggings, rapes and bashings have become almost ho-hum.

But the escalation and savagery of Aboriginal attacks on whites in recent times have alarmed a complacent public.

Only now, thanks to political correctness, they are rarely reported as Aboriginal crimes. If the police are looking for a perpetrator, he will be described as “dark skinned”.

Because there is almost a blackout (if you will excuse the expression) in recent times on reporting of Aboriginal crimes, I have gone back to my archives to give some examples of the savagery of Aboriginal criminals.

Savage attack by Aboriginal leaves 89-year-old man brain-damaged and blind in one eye

Sidney Brady

Sidney Brady was an independent 89-year-old man until he was savagely beaten in a senseless attack during a home invasion, by Aboriginal, Allan Ronald Poland.

Since the horrifying ordeal in October 2011, the elderly man spent two months in hospital, swapped his walking stick for a frame and now lives under the full-time care of his daughter and son-in-law.

His attacker, Poland, 32 at the time, was sentenced in the West Australian District Court to 16 years and four months in prison after being convicted  in 2013 by a jury.

The court heard Mr Brady was dog-sitting his daughter’s sick pet while she and her husband went out for the evening when he was attacked in the couple’s home.

In sentencing, Judge Troy Sweeney said it was a sustained beating probably involving at least two weapons that caused bruising, swelling and bleeding all over Mr Brady’s body.

He permanently lost sight in one eye and suffered a life-threatening trauma to his brain, the court heard.

“These injuries look extremely painful,” Judge Sweeney said.

“He was savagely beaten.”

Judge Sweeney noted Mr Brady was vulnerable and defenceless during the “senselessly excessive” attack, only asking the man not to hurt the dog, which was suffering from cancer.

Poland also ransacked the home as if he had “all the time in the world” until he was caught outside when Mr Brady’s family returned home. He pretended to be looking for a taxi, Judge Sweeney said.

“You were caught red-handed but you were cunning enough to pretend you were an innocent bystander,” she said.

Man jailed for seven years for violent attack on 92-year-old woman in her home

Claire Wilson

Mrs Claire Wilson

The life of a 92-year-old woman bashed in her home in Mount Isa in north-west Queensland has been completely ruined, family have said, as her attacker was sentenced to seven years in jail for the violent assault.

Tristan Dean Dodd, now 37, pleaded guilty to burglary by break and enter and grievous bodily harm against now 93-year-old Clare Alexia Wilson, also known as Lexie, in the Mount Isa District Court on Thursday.

Crown prosecutor Amanda Payne said Mrs Wilson suffered serious injuries to most of her body when Dodd — who was unknown to her — entered her home about midday in April 2018.

“The defendant broke into the victim’s home by walking through the front door, which happened to be unlocked,” Ms Payne said.

“He immediately struck Mrs Wilson multiple times to her body, ribs, arms, head and face, causing her to fall unconscious.

“When she woke, she managed to call her emergency call button.”

Ms Payne told the hearing that when paramedics arrived, Mrs Wilson was attempting to pull herself up from the floor.

“Her face was bleeding and her eye was swollen completely shut,” she said.

The attack lasted only four minutes and Dodd, then aged 35, was arrested a short time later.

Mrs Wilson was taken to the Mount Isa Hospital for treatment, with injuries to her face, including nose, eye and jaw fractures, lacerations to her lip, cheek and forearms, bruises over her face, chest, abdomen and forearms, and skin tears on her shins and calf.

Ms Payne told the court Mrs Wilson required treatment in the hospital’s intensive care unit, and deteriorated five days later, with concern as to whether she would survive.

She said Mrs Wilson also suffered psychologically from the attack.

Aboriginal teenager jailed for vicious attack and attempted rape of 88-year-old-grandmother.

A 15-year–old Aboriginal boy was sent behind bars for seven years over a horrific attempted rape and beating he unleashed on an 88-year-old great-grandmother in her own home.

In sentencing the Aboriginal youth, Perth Children’s Court President Denis Reynolds described the attack as “disgusting”, “cowardly” and the “worst” of its kind”.

The Aboriginal boy had broken into the 88-year-old woman’s Great Southern (WA) home of more than 66 years while a co-offender syphoned fuel from machinery in a nearby shed.

The court heard his crime had seen the elderly woman punched to the ground, repeatedly kicked and with items including a coffee table thrown at her head.

The great-grandmother suffered bruises all over her body after the boy repeatedly punched and kicked her, and threw objects at her, including a ceramic pot at her head.

In a victim impact statement, the woman said her head was “exploding” and she thought she was going to die.

“He was just kicking me and kicking me,” she said.

The woman also described suffering nightmares, lacking self-confidence, feeling like a burden on her family and being physically weak and confused after the attack.

The teenager had then tried to rape her twice and was caught at the scene after the victim’s grandson and granddaughter–in-law responded to a Silver Chain alarm that she had pressed without her attacker knowing.

Judge Reynolds labelled the crime as appalling. “Every reasonably minded member of the community would be absolutely appalled,” he said.

“The victim was a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother. People like that are very special,” he said.

“Healthy communities like ours are instinctively very protective of people like that.”

Judge Reynolds said it was unlikely that the woman would be able to return to her home of 60 years or live independently again.

The judge said the ordeal was extremely humiliating and degrading for the “extremely vulnerable” woman.

“The community would be rightly disgusted and revolted by what you did,” he said.

Judge Reynolds said the boy’s behaviour was “cowardly, violent and persistent”.

The court was told the teenager was remorseful for what he had done with the judge telling him he should be, but Judge Reynolds also said there was room for more remorse and that the teenager’s claim that he was so intoxicated that he had no memory of the attack was “nonsense”.

The Aboriginal youth was convicted of aggravated burglary, unlawful assault occasioning bodily harm and two counts of attempted sexual penetration without consent.

He was also convicted of another aggravated burglary and sentenced to six months to be served concurrently with the seven-year sentence.

Police officers viciously bashed by drunken Aboriginal mob

Injured police officers arrive at Royal Perth Hospital

Three police officers were attempting to break up a wild brawl between 200 drunken Aboriginals who had gathered at the Meekatharra hotel in outback Western Australia following a funeral, when the mob turned on them.

Constable Shane Markham was king-hit and savagely bashed, losing teeth and suffering a broken eye socket which left him temporarily blind.

Female officer, Constable Christina Johnson was thrown to the ground, held down an repeatedly kicked.

Both officers had to be flown to Perth by the Royal Flying Doctor Service for treatment.

At their trial, the two main Aboriginal perpetrators were given lenient sentences by notorious bleeding-heart, District Court Judge Kate O’Brien. For his vicious attack on Constable Markham, Peter Laylan was given a jail sentence of just two and a half years.

For the cowardly attack on Constable Johnson, Leonard Wells was jailed for four and a half years.

Constable Markham said later that the assault has taken a huge emotional toll on him and his family.

Young Aboriginal jailed for savage bashing of grandmother

Denzel Lee Winmar

A young thug who brutally bashed an Armadale grandmother before stealing her car and going on a meth-fuelled driving rampage has been jailed for 5 1/2 years — with his victim showing surprising compassion for him outside court.

Denzel Lee Winmar, 20, was sentenced in WA’s District Court today over a shocking string of crimes that started with him attacking 67-year-old Mary Chaytor inside her Sixth Road home moments after she returned from work on September 6, 2017.

The court was told Winmar followed Mrs Chaytor inside through the unlocked front door. When she refused to hand over her car keys and bag he punched her in the face and kicked her to the head and body after she collapsed to the ground.

After making off with her car, Winmar was then spotted by other motorists driving erratically at high speed and on the wrong side of the road. He was involved in several crashes, including one which injured an innocent driver, before abandoning the car.

Winmar had earlier pleaded guilty to charges including aggravated home burglary, aggravated robbery, stealing a motor vehicle, reckless driving and failing to stop and provide assistance after a crash.

In arguing for a jail term, prosecutor Gabrielle Clarke described the attack on Mrs Chaytor as “brazen” and “opportunistic” and said it had “taken away her feeling of safety”. Mrs Chaytor was left battered and bruised as a result of the attack but was still suffering a psychological toll.

Lawyer Abigail Rogers said her client accepted responsibility for his actions despite have little recollection of what took place.

Ms Rogers said Winmar was under the influence of methamphetamine at the time and had since “indicated how disgusted he was” at the affect the drugs had on him.

In sentencing Winmar to more than five years jail, Judge Andrew Stavrianou said his crimes were “particularly serious” and had caused Mrs Chaytor in particular serious ongoing problems including nightmares and post traumatic stress disorder.

Speaking outside court, Mrs Chaytor said she was satisfied with the penalty and hoped Winmar could learn a lesson from his time behind bars.

“He is only young so I hope he can turn his life around,” she said.

“He needed to realise what he did was very serious and that it has been life-changing for my whole family — we may never get over this entirely.”

Mrs Chaytor said she still had trouble with things as simple as standing in lines, because of the feeling of someone behind her.

Winmar was made eligible for parole after serving 3 1/2 years and his sentence was backdated to when he went into custody last August.
